Charlotte Tilbury The Fallen Angel Review & Swatches

* Purchased

The Charlotte Tilbury Fallen Angel Palette is my newest addition to my palette family and to my Charlotte Tilbury collection. As mentioned previously i am a huge fan of Charlotte Tilbury Cosmetics and i think its obvious to say that by the size of my Charlotte Tilbury makeup Collection that everyone must know that by now lol. All of her products are well thought out and of the highest quality and this palette is no exception...

This particular palette doesn't contain a mix of eyeshadows finishes like the other palettes in the Line. Every eyeshadow has the same metallic high-shine finish. This particular palette uses a different formula in that it is a wet/dry formulation which has an incredible, intensified, rich colour pay-off. Each eyeshadow inside the palette is extremely soft, blendable, opaque and very long-wearing. Everyone knows how much i love my Tom Ford Nude Dip palette and this its equally as great, the black is perfect all over the lid also for a different spin on the traditional black smoky eye.

 Each of Tilbury's high-calibre eyeshadow palettes contain four eyeshadows which come inside a pretty vintage burgundy compact with rose gold accents. Only this palette is the diamond in between the plain janes as she has pretty little stars all over her. The palette also comes with an interior mirror to help you apply the eyeshadows up close with ease. The shades help you to create a beautiful multidimensional eye look and i find they mix well with my other Charlotte Tilbury palettes. Each quad contains just 2.8g / 0.10oz of product which is less than the standard Tilbury palettes, the palette is the same physical size of the regular palettes, so visually it doesn't appear smaller. It also retails for £7 more than the traditional palettes but is worth every single penny in my eyes.

Just like with the original Luxury eye palettes each eyeshadow within the palette all have a separate role.... to Prime (base shade), Enhance (crease shade to create depth), Pop (to bring out the center of the eye) and Smoke (to smoke out the outer lid and bottom lashline). Each eyeshadow shade has the potential to be worn alone as well as paired with others to create an array of eye looks. My personal favourites in the Charlotte Tilbury Palettes always seem to be the Enhance & Pop eyeshadow shades.

The Prime shade i would describe as a warm light Gold.
The Enhance shade i would describe as a almost silver Taupe.
The Pop shade i would describe as a Warm Bronze ( my favourite in the palette ).
The Smoke shade i would describe as a cool toned Black ( on the lid it reminds me of leather ).

Charlotte Tilbury Fallen Angel Luxury Palette

This is the first Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow palette that i would say is an absolute must from her collection ( obviously i love them all as i own 6 ). It has the same type of popular smooth wet/dry formula, just like the Nars Dual Intensity eyeshadows, The Tom Ford Nude Dip palette, the Mac extra Dimension eyeshadows and the Kiko Water eyeshadows. I feel this particular palette is a must is because it is more neutral than the others i own and it is super rich in pigment without any fall-out or without having to layer for ages to get the desired intensity, it really is absolutely stunning! I think its fair to say i own all of the above and this finish is one of my favourites. If you love the intense wet/dry shadows then you need this palette in your life!  Charlotte Tilbury palettes really are the prettiest little things.

If you feel too guilty splurging on this palette then it would make a beautiful gift from a loved one, i guarantee it wont be a purchase to regret.

The Charlotte Tilbury Fallen Angel Luxury eye palette retails in the UK for £45 and is available to purchase directly through Charlotte Tilbury as well as Net-a-porter and Selfridges.
It retails for $65 in the USA through Beautylish and Nordstrom.

I previously reviewed 2 other Luxury eye palettes on my blog The Dolce Vita and The Golden Goddess check them out if you are considering other palettes. I also shared my Norman Parkinson Collaboration Collection and showed my whole Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick Collection ( one more has since been added ) so expect more Charlotte Tilbury blog posts in the future....

Thanks for Reading Lovelies
