Kiko Cream Crush Lasting Colour Eyeshadow Review

* Purchased

Being a cream eyeshadow addict and already a huge fan of Kiko Cosmetics, after i fell in love with the lasting cream eyeshadow sticks i squealed with excitement when i saw that in Spring 2015 Kiko had released their Kiko Cream Crush Lasting Colour eyeshadows. I have had these eyeshadows in my collection for quite some time now and i thought that i would share my opinion on them. Amazingly i have not heard anyone i follow on Instagram nor Youtube talk about these eyeshadows, so of course that made me want to try them out even more as i am not really one for following the hype when it comes to products without thoroughly researching the item first....

Each cream crush eyeshadow comes in a sleek transparent glass jar where the shade is easily visible. The lid is black plastic with the Kiko Logo. The cream crush texture is extremely soft and airy to touch, it feels like a whipped mousse. I've honestly never tried anything like it before and the consistency is very different to all of the other cream eyeshadows i own. The eyeshadows go on feeling slightly cool on the eyelid and dry pretty quickly, but not as quick as the long lasting pencil shadows. Due to their super-light texture i do find i have to use a bit more product than with the pencils, but they build up colour very well and they blend out really easily too.

Kiko Cream Crush Lasting Colour Eyeshadows - Clockwise: 08, 07, 06, 05, 01, 03.

The Kiko Cream Crush Lasting Colour eyeshadows come in a range of shimmer and mattes finishes and are currently only available 16 shades. I have added a mixture of both matte and shimmers to my collection and as usual i stuck to neutral shades as i wanted to buy shadows that would get regular use. No unnecessary hoarding here lol. Longevity-wise they wear very well and easily last on myself all day around 10 hours ( I also have slightly oily eyelids ). I find them a great base for powdered eyes as welll as being beautiful on their own. I also find them easy to remove with a makeup wipe or Bioderma which is convenient when you need to remove your makeup quickly in the evening, like myself before cleansing. I think these eyeshadows will work well on normal and dry eyes the best, very oily eyelids might need a eye primer underneath beforehand. They are not at all drying on the skin which makes them ideal for all age groups, even mature women depending on the shades of course

The shades I own are:
01 Pearly Vintage Rose - A beautiful shimmery
03 Mat Light Mahogany -
05 Pearly Silver Rose -
06 Pearly Chocolate -
07 Mat Ebony -
08 - Pearly Dark Brown -

Bottom Row -Kiko Cream Crush Lasting Colour Eyeshadows Swatches: 01, 03, 05, 06, 07, 08. Top Row is onglasting eyeshadow sticks.

The Pros with the Cream Crush Lasting Colour eyeshadows are that they are highly blendable with a soft airy texture, fantastic colour pay-off and are long-lasting. Not only are they super affordable at under £7 each but they are also hypoallergenic and paraben free.

The Kiko Cream Crush Lasting Colour eyeshadows retail for £6.90 each and are available through Kiko cosmetics directly here. For all of you in the USA they ship to you also and retail for $14 each which you can buy here.

Kiko are one of my favourite Cosmetics Brands i dread to think how much i have spent on their products over the past year. Have you tried anything from Kiko Cosmetics?
