After purchasing the Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette and falling in love, i knew i just had to buy more of their eyeshadow palettes and i placed another order from Beauty Bay for their 'Naturally Yours' and En Taupe Palettes. Zoeva palettes are of amazing quality and i rate them in the same league as Urban Decay, Too Faced and Lorac eyeshadows. Zoeva seems to produce a nice collection of consecutively great-quality products, so i am looking forward to dabbling in more of their makeup products over the next few months....
Just like the brushes the eyeshadows are amazing quality being insanely pigmented, soft and very blendable. Over the years i have become a bit of a palette hoarder and a bit of an eyeshadow snob when it comes to quality. The quality has to be amazing, not only swatched but also applied with a brush, just because an eyeshadow swatches beautifully doesn't mean it applies well to the eyelids. I can say that Zoeva has not disappointed in any of their eyeshadows...
The 'En Taupe' palette is the latest release by Zoeva Cosmetics. It is rather cool toned compared to the Cocoa blend palette which you can see my review here. It contains a range of cool-toned grey and taupe eyeshadow shades, with a mixture of matte, satin and shimmer finishes. Every single shadow is highly pigmented, silky soft, long-lasting and they blend beautifully. I genuinely love cool-toned taupe shades on my eyes especially in the colder months so I was excited to see that they had released a palette focused on the Taupe theme. Though the colours may seem somewhat boring and muted in this palette compared to some of the other palettes Zoeva have released, i think it's the perfect everyday palette for a subtle, elegant eye look that doesn't require too much effort and time for those who want to try something a little more cool-toned. The palette contains every shade you will need from matte transition shades, a shimmery highlight, slightly darker shades to deepen the outer corners and eye-catching shimmery shades that look great packed all over the entire lid.
All of the Zoeva eyeshadow palettes come in sleek and sturdy cardboard packaging with a magnetic closure. Each palettes design matches the theme of the palette and compliments the eyeshadows inside. This particular palette is a taupe-grey with a geometric print. There are 10 eyeshadows in the palette, each weighing 1.5g so you actually get a good amount of product for your money. The only thing i feel could make the palette better is an interior mirror which would make this palette great for travel. I also really like that Zoeva make their products in Europe ( Italy to be precise ) and don't test on animals. All of their products are free from Parabens, Mineral Oil, Phthalates and fragrance, the eyeshadows are also enriched in Vitamin E which is perfect for my sensitive ageing eyes......

I love all of the shadows within this palette and i actually like that the colours are more muted, it means that the En taupe palette is quite unique in today's market. If you love Taupe or cool toned shades you should definitely give this palette a try. My personal favourite's within the palette are: 'Outline' which is just absolutely stunning packed all over the lid. 'Hour by hour' is a perfect transition shade, 'Spun Pearl' is a beautiful highlight shade and 'Exquisite' is stunning at adding definition to the outer corner or the eye. 'Old master' is absolutely stunning smoked out on the bottom lash-line.
