Last year i was very kindly sent my first ever Becca blush by the lovely Kerry who is a style director for BECCA . The shade i was sent was Nightingale which is a beautiful super pigmented berry shade that is perfect for the fall time and deeper skin-tones. I loved the texture and formulation of the blush that i wanted to order more. Sadly all the shades i want are not available to purchase in the UK, so i decided to order another blush from Sephora and chose the shade Wild Honey.
Just like the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfectors pressed, the BECCA blushes are very finely milled, buttery soft and insanely pigmented... these blushes are no joke! Wild Honey is described as a peachy-nude, i feel it's a warm honey-toned beige with a slight hint of peach. Its a beautiful warm neutral blush that is beautiful on fair to medium-dark skin-tones. The finish is semi-matte. As the formula is creamy, super soft and really pigmented i find using a small duo-fibre brush best with this, as it picks up less product and blends out evenly without you having to work hard to diffuse and soften the edges. I tend to apply with my MAC 130 short duo fibre brush and blend out with my Wayne Goss no.10 brush. The formula of the blush makes them very easy to apply, blend and diffuse and most importantly they have amazing longevity.
The Becca mineral blush line currently has six shades Wild Honey, Flowerchild, Songbird, Nightingale, Lantana and Hyacinth. Like i mentioned before we here in the UK do not have all of the BECCA blushers just Nightingale, Lantana and Hyacinth which are available to buy for £26 each from Space NK. Wild Honey, Flowerchild, Songbird are only available to purchase from Sephora or Beautylish for $32 each. I always like to see if i can find more affordable options and Kiko have a blush formulation which is identical to that of the BECCA blushers, if you are looking for a cheaper alternative. The Kiko soft touch blushers retail for only £7.50 and can be found here. I will say just like the shimmering skin perfectors as the blushers are very finely milled they do break easy, so try not to make the same mistakes as me and drop and of your BECCA compacts. The Kiko blushers are exactly the same so be careful with them, treat them like precious fragile babies.

The Becca mineral blushes are formulated with a natural mineral complex and infused with antioxidant vitamins A, E & C. They contain no parabens or synthetic fragrances, they’re also free of alcohol, chemical dyes and talc. The blusher compact is the traditional 'BECCA' design in the grey rubberised circular compact with steel centred accent. Each blush is smaller than the pressed skin perfectors containing 0.20 oz/ 6g where as the Skin perfectors contain 0.28 oz/ 8g.
Wild Honey is a beautiful all year round neutral blush shade. I honestly cannot recommend BECCA blushers enough, i hope to add Songbird to my collection soon and i also hope that BECCA Cosmetics come out with more shades in the future.
