GOSH Cosmetics SS16 Collection - 9 Shades Shadow, Lumi Drops, Lip Oil, Lipstick & Crazy Volume Mascara

I wanted to get this post up last week but it was such a busy week and the lighting was not so great for taking photos. I was super excited to receive a package a couple of weeks ago full of new goodies from Gosh Cosmetics, containing some of their new Gosh SS16 collection. The range launches in just two days on the 10th of February and some of the items are very exciting! The collection has a natural and neutral focus, so this is a range that will appeal to a lot of people. I personally have waited a long-time for them to release one of their '9 Colours To Wear In' eyeshadow palettes in everyday neutral shades, so i was over the moon when i saw they had finally made one, Yay! If you want to see what else is in their collection then keep on reading.

The first product in the collection i am of course going to rave about is the Gosh 9 Shades Matte Shadow Collection in ‘004 To Be Cool In Copenhagen’. I love how all the eyeshadows are matte, wearable shades making them perfect for everyday, and for all of us 'neutral' eyeshadow junkies. The formula of the Gosh 9 shades shadow palettes are super buttery smooth, with great colour pay off, i did find the black shade to be a bit more chalky than the rest with more fall out but its rich in colour. Matte black eyeshadows are one of the hardest to formulate. The shades within the palette lean more Neutral and cool toned, so it would be nice to see possibly a warm toned neutral palette with rich browns and burnt oranges ( maybe **** in Morocco or something lol ). I do love the palette though, i can see myself using every shade and it's perfect for everyday wear. The palette also comes with an interior mirror and the compact size makes it perfect for travel. This long awaited palette is going to be another popular by Gosh and will be one of the most popular items in the SS16 line. The palette will retail for only £10.99!

Everyone knows by now how much i love the Gosh Forever eyeshadow crayons, well Gosh have Forever Matte Eyeshadows coming out. I love that they are twist up crayons and are super creamy, blendable, pigmented and long-wearing. I for one will be buying all the shades that come out. Each Gosh Forever Matte Eyeshadow stick will retail for £7.49 each.

I am a big mascara lover, just like with foundations i love to test very mascara out there. Gosh will be releasing a new mascaras to their collection, the GOSH Rebel Eyes Mascara for £8.99. I was sent one of their mascaras already available in the drugstore the Gosh Crazy Volume Mascara which retails for £6.99. The brush head sure is crazy, it kind of reminds me of the brush in a pond filter or the brushes that clean your car in a car wash lol. The natural bristles are all uneven lengths with 2 rows of really long bristles. I find the brush a bit big ( it is described as an over-sized fibre brush ) so i do have to be careful when applying to my lashes; this is only because i have small eyes and not very many lashes, then before i know it large mascara wands have put mascara all over my eyelids. I was very pleasantly surprised by the mascara it really adds length and volume to my lashes. It's not the best at separating, when it comes to the second layer i do find it can clump but that's nothing a little comb through cant fix. I love that its long-wearing and doesn't flake or transfer on me, something i find rare with mascaras.

I was gutted i missed out on buying some of the MAC lustre drops over the past couple of years so i was very happy when i saw that Gosh had come out with their own illuminating drops. GOSH Lumi Drops are a tinted highlighting liquid that you can either apply as a primer underneath foundation, mix in with moisturiser or your foundation for an all over healthy glow, or dab on top of the cheekbones when you have finished applying the rest of your makeup, for a more intense glow. I love that these are so subtle, they aren't as intense as say the Becca Shimmering Skin perfectors but i feel its much prettier on the skin than my benefit High beam or Sun Bream illuminating creams. So if you prefer natural looking makeup you will love these. There will be quite a few different shades ( 4 i believe ) and i was sent the shade ‘004 Peach’ which is beautiful on my warm skin-tone. I love the dewy look it gives me and have reached for this on my No-makeup, makeup days. It will retail for only £7.99 which is a steal. Gosh will also be releasing some skin perfector primers. You can see sneak peeks on their Instagram page here.

If you have seen everyone raving about the Hourglass, YSL and Clarins Lip Oils but fancied trying a more affordable option then Gosh have created a great dupe. There are going to be 4 lipglosses in the line retailing for £7.49 each. I received the gloss in the shade '002 Sea Buckthorn' which goes on clear. Each lip oil contains argan oil, macadamia oil, sea buckthorn and moringa oil ,Vitaskin E ( which is high in Vitamin E, Omega 6 and 3 ) which all ingredients are great for dry and cracked lips. Each lip oil has been designed to be very moisturising, while repairing and nourishing the lips. They come in the form of a lipgloss and are easy to apply on the go. I find them to be long-wearing on the lips and they also compliment over top of a lipstick if you want a different option to add shine rather than a lip gloss. I love it so much it made it into my January favourites also. I think these are going to be really popular upon release and i plan to pick up more of the shades.

Gosh will be releasing 4 more Velvet Touch lipstick shades, in the formulation of Velvet 'Matte' Touch lipsticks. I am already a fan of the original Velvet Touch formulation, which are super creamy on the lips, so i cannot wait to try some of the Gosh Velvet Matte Touch lipsticks. Any nude or light pink shades have my name all over them. Each lipstick will retail for £6.99 each and i received the shades '150 Kitten' which is a pretty baby pink perfect for spring. This shade is already available to buy here on the Superdrug website. I could not find '169 Pretty' so i assume it will be releasing with the new collection, which is a pretty berry shade. As expected both lipsticks are super smooth and creamy, i don't tend to like drugstore lipsticks and the only drugstore/Affordable lipsticks ( in tubes ) that i reach for are by Gosh and Kiko.

Swatches - L-R: Gosh Velvet Touch lipsticks 169 & 150. Gosh Lip Oil 002 Sea Buckthorn. Gosh Lumi Drops 004 Peach.

Overall, I am loving the GOSH SS16 collection it is full of wearable shades and products that everyone will like, but most importantly everything is fantastic quality, yet really affordable. The eyeshadow palette and Lip oil are by far my favourite items in the collection, but i see the Mascara and Lumi Drops being super popular also. I think this line is going to be a big hit. Make sure to follow Gosh on Instagram to see their new products on the release day. I for one will be stalking the Superdrug website for the Forever matte pencils and more of the lip oils.
