It's not exactly a secret that i am a fan of Lush cosmetics products, especially their luxurious bath products and face masks. Everything is so affordable and i enjoy that it's all fresh. The worse part about being addicted to Lush products is that if you hoard a lot they can go to waste, as they are all freshly made and expire quickly. I've lost count of how many products have gone out of date before i even had the chance to use them *sniff sniff, simply because i made the mistake of buying too many products at once. I only have one face! Now i stock up on bath luxuries like bubble bars and bath ballistics in bulk but only pick up a few cleansers and face masks. This way they don't go to waste.

This week i popped into my local Lush Cambridge store with my dear friend Toni and her husband. Her birthday is coming up and she wanted to spoil herself . Something she definitely deserves, and lets just say i did almost as much damage as she did. I do believe she will be putting up her lush haul shortly. Toni is a newbie blogger and has a blog of her own here. As i have so many lush empties, i thought i would start my 'Lush series' with my empties first. So, this way you can see if there were any repurchases on my following Lush haul post. Please note this isn't all my lush empties but i wanted to choose just ten at first to talk about....

Enzymion is a mattifying fruit moisturizer made specifically for those with oily skin. It contains a blend of astringent citrus fruits like papaya and lemon to help reduce excess oil, and soothing vitamin and mineral rich ingredients like Avocado and Primrose oil to replenish and hydrate the skin. I just wasn't wowed with this product on myself, i used it a few times then just stopped using it. This didn't even come close to my standards of what i like in a moisturiser. I would also not be likely to purchase this again as i noticed it contains a couple of parabens. Parabens i don't usually mind on products that don't sit on my skin for ages like eyeshadows, blushers and highlighters but its something i avoid in my skincare as personal preference. I was a little taken aback to see them listed in a lush product, though they are the last ingredients listed meaning it contains less than 0.01%.
Is it a Repurchase? Not for me, sorry.
Ingredients: Fresh Organic Lemon Infusion (Citrus limonum) , Organic Aloe Vera Gel (Aloe barbadensis) , Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao) , Stearic Acid , Fresh Papaya Juice (Carica papaya) , Cold Pressed Organic Avocado Oil (Persea gratissima) , Glycerine , Triethanolamine , Fresh Organic Lemon Juice (Citrus limonum) , Cold Pressed Organic Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera Biennis) , Cold Pressed Organic Wheatgerm Oil (Triticum vulgare) , Tangerine Oil (Citrus reticulata) , Lime Oil (Citrus aurantifolia) , Cetearyl Alcohol , Lilial , *Limonene (Occurs naturally in essential oils) , Fragrance , Methylparaben , Propylparaben.

The aim of a face mask is to refresh your skin back to it's natural best, and bb seaweed is one of those masks that does just that.... for every skin type! BB Seaweed is my all time favourite face mask by Lush and is in my top 3 face masks of all time. It's a mineral rich calming and reviving face mask. Packed full of seaweed ( and ingredient my skin loves ), aloe vera, kaolin, rose absolute and honey to really soothe and calm the skin. It really is a wonderful relaxing mask to give your skin a proper pampering. It does have a distinct seaweed smell but its not overwhelming at all. I suffered with bad nausea during my pregnancies but i didn't find this set it off at all.
Is it a Repurchase? Definitely, i have repurchased this at least 10 times now.
Ingredients: Lime Tree Flower (Tilia Europaea) & Sweet Violet Leaf (Viola Odorata) Decoction , Kaolin , Honey , Glycerine , Ground Almonds (Prunus dulcis) , Bladderwrack Seaweed (Fucus gardneri) , Organic Aloe Vera Gel (Aloe barbadensis) , Millet Flakes (Panicum miliaceum) , Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Olea europaea) , Bentone Gel , Fresh Rose Petal (Rosa centifolia) , Rose Absolute (Rosa damascena) , Patchouli Oil (Pogostemon cablin) , Rosemary Oil (Rosmarinus officinalis) , Seaweed Absolute (Fucus vesiculosus) , *Citral , *Geraniol , *Benzyl Benzoate , *Limonene , *Linalool , Fragrance. * = Occurs naturally in essential oils ingredients.

Made with Rhassoul mud, charcoal and black sugar this cleanser is like a dry dirt that turns into a deep exfoliating and purifying cleanser when mixed with water. If you have oily skin you will love this cleanser, but it can be a bit messy ( i would avid if you are anal about keeping your sink perfectly white lol ). I loved this when my skin was more oily and i had repurchased it around 4 times. Now that my skin is more balanced i find it a little bit too harsh for me, though i wouldn't have an issue mixing it with some yogurt and leaving it to sit on my face for 15 minutes then gently washing it off for a hydrating and deep clarifying treatment to restart my skin.
Is it a Repurchase? Maybe, if i wanted to mix face products or i get extremely oily again.
Ingredients: Rhassoul Mud , Cold Pressed Organic Avocado Oil (Persea gratissima) , Glycerine , Powdered Charcoal , Black Sugar (sucrose) , Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate , Fragrance , Sandalwood Oil (Santalum austro-caledonicum vieill and Fusanus spicatus) , Rosewood oil (Aniba rosaeodora) , *Linalool & *Farnesol ( which occurs naturally in essential oils).

Cupcake is a clarifying face mask packed full with ingredients like Rhassoul mud and Cocoa powder, along with 3 different types on mint to help soothe and calm oily and blemish prone skin. Because of this, it is super popular with acne prone teenagers. Unfortunately i did not like this on my skin at all. The smell of chocolate and mint was far too overwhelming for me, and my pot is still pretty full as i knew after just one use i didn't like it. It probably doesn't help that i'm not a huge fan of anything that smells like mint lol and strong chocolate scents can make me feel nauseous as mentioned here. However this mask is great at helping to absorb excess oil, treat blemishes and balance out the skin. If you suffer with oily, congested, blemish-prone skin you would love this.
Is it a Repurchase? For me personally no, for my pre-teen daughter yes.
Ingredients: Rhassoul Mud , Linseed Infusion (Linum usitatissimum) , Glycerine , Talc , Cocoa Powder (Theobroma cacao) , Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao) , Fresh Mint (Mentha Piperita) , Sandalwood Oil (Santalum austro-caledonicum vieill and Fusanus spicatus) , Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute (Vanilla Planifolia) , Spearmint Oil (Mentha spicata) , Peppermint Oil (Mentha piperita) , *Limonene (Occurs naturally in essential oils) , Fragrance.

I could honestly stick my nose into this sweet smelling pot all day, every day. Originally the sweet almost edible scent is was what drew me to this cleanser ( i have a huge sweet tooth ), but it was the result it gave my skin that had me repurchase this at least 12 times over the past 4 years! It is officially my most used face cleanser ever! Let the good times roll is a sweetly-scented, slightly gritty cleanser that leaves the skin gently exfoliated, super soft and looking vibrant. Its the lush cleanser that has the least ingredients, which i really like. Despite it containing fragrance i don't find that this irritates my skin. Made from Maize flour, corn meal, corn oil, cinnamon and popcorn it helps to gently cleanse the skin and lightly hydrate, whilst being anti bacteria due to the cinnamon. I love using this as my morning cleanser. If you are a fan of caramel you will love this and want to eat your face off lol. However, if you are sensitive to strong sweet scents, then this might not be the cleanser for you. This is fantastic for all skin types, even sensitive.
Is it a Repurchase? Of course, it always will be.
Ingredients: Maize flour (Zea mays) , Glycerine , Talc , Water (Aqua) , Corn Oil (Zea mays) , Corn Meal (Zea Mays) , Cinnamon Powder (Cinnamomum Zeylanicum) , Fragrance , Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides) , popcorn.

Originally i didn't like this, simply because i found the 'herbal' scent extremely overwhelming. Since incorporating more natural skincare products in my routine i have now become used to the earthy more herbal scents. Herbalism is a face and body cleanser made for those battling with oily, troubled skin. The power of mineral-rich herbs, nettles and ground almonds help to gently exfoliate the skin. Laolin clay and rice bran soak up excess oil and deeply cleanse, while chamomile leaves and rose absolute help to calm and refresh the skin. Leaving your skin freshly clean, toned and balanced.
Is it a Repurchase? Yes i would use this again, especially in the summer months
Ingredients: Ground Almonds (Prunus dulcis) , Kaolin , Glycerine , Nettle, Rosemary, Rice Vinegar Extract (Urtica dioica, Rosmarinus officinalis) , Rice Bran (Oryza sativa) , Water (Aqua) , Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides) , Rose Absolute (Rosa damascena) , Chamomile Blue Oil (Matricaria Chamomilla) , Sage Oil (Salvia officinalis) , Fragrance , Chlorophyllin Water (Aqua).

Grease Lightning is a spot treatment gel that helps to calm and reduce breakouts without upsetting or drying out the skin. It really is super gentle meaning all skin types, including sensitive skin can use. With antibacterial and antiseptic ingredients like tea tree, rosemary, thyme, grape juice and witch hazel, this anti-inflammatory treatment helps to soothe the skin and and reduce the redness of the blemish. I love this when my breakout feels extremely sore and only use in the day time in place of a more harsh spot treatment that will irritate it and leave it looking dry and crusty. I love my Bravura 2% Salicylic acid for night time along with my Cosrx blemish stickers to really treat the blemish while i sleep. The only flaw i had with this was with the packaging. I find that the pump spits out far too much product! Lush could benefit on fixing their pump as its just wasteful, but then again i didn't finish my entire bottle as a little goes a long way.
Is it a Repurchase? Yes, its super gentle, though i wish it contained no parabens.
Ingredients: Thyme , Rosemary and Tea Tree Infusion (Thymus Vulgaris, Rosmarinus Officinalis, Melaleuca Alternifolia) , Water (Aqua) , Organic Aloe Vera Gel (Aloe barbadensis) , Sea Water , Grape Juice (Vitis vinifera) , Carrageenan Extract (Chondrus crispus) , Lavender Oil (Lavandula augustifolia) , Witch Hazel Extract (Hamamelis virginiana) , *Linalool (Occurs naturally in essential oils) , Fragrance , Methylparaben.

Another product just like the Let the good times roll cleanser that i could honestly stick my nose in to smell all day!! I have been a fan of Ro's argan body conditioner for around 4 years now. It's the perfect lazy girls moisturiser. If you find you are short of time to apply lotion all over your body after the shower or you just hate being cold slapping cold wet lotion over your body for ages, then you will love this. Named after Lush's product inventor Rowena, this decadent-rich moisturiser deeply nourishes the skin in the convenience of your bat tub or shower. You literally just slather it all over your body after cleansing. Rinse off, pat the skin dry and enjoy deeply nourished, super soft skin, that smells amazing with the scent of fresh rose petals. Packed full with ingredients like Argan oil, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter and numerous oils, Ro's Argan body conditioner really helps to feed and nourish the skin.
Is it a Repurchase? Always, i have purchased about 4 tubs over the years, and a little really does go a long way.
Ingredients: Water (Aqua) , Glycerine , Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis) , Cypress Leaf Infusion (Cupressus sempervirens) , Brazil Nut Oil (Bertholletia Excelsa) , Vanilla Pod Infusion (Vanilla planifolia) , Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii) , Stearic Acid , Argan Oil (Argania spinosa) , Cupuacu Butter (Theobroma Grandiflorum) , Fragrance , Triethanolamine , Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter (Theobroma Cacao) , Goji Berry Juice (Lycium barbarum) , Rose Absolute (Rosa damascena) , Rose Oil (Rosa damascena) , Geranium Oil (Pelargonium graveolens) , Lemon Oil (Citrus limonum) , *Limonene (Occurs naturally in essential oils), Cetearyl Alcohol , Citronellol , Coumarin , Geraniol , Methylparaben , Propylparaben.

Hair Doctor, Hair and Scalp Mask | 95g Discontinued
This doesn't seem to be listed anywhere on the UK Lush site but shows as out of stock on the USA and Australia websites. So i'm guessing that it must be discontinued? Hair doctor is a fresh mask which is stored in the fridge. It helps to soothe troubled scalps and nurse the hair back to health. Bursting with peppermint oil it helps to revitalise the scalp with a slight tingling sensation - please note that peppermint oil is a skin irritant so could really irritate your scalp. It helps to lift the build up of dirt and oils from the scalp. With coconut oil and sweet almond oil it helps to hydrate and soften the scalp and hair. I didn't find this did a lot to help my scalp. It did irritate my scalp and just never wowed me like the T44Z hair food scalp treatment. T44Z is more lightweight and works better on my extremely sensitive scalp. I purchase mine through my hairdressing salon Chenai Beauty in Cambridge.
Is it a Repurchase? Probably not their are better scalp treatments out there.
Ingredients: Irish Moss Powder (Chondrus crispus) , Water , Fullers Earth , Cetearyl Alcohol , Fragrance , Glycerine , Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis) , Peppermint Oil (Mentha piperita) , Rosemary Absolute (Rosmarinus Officinalis) , Chamomile Blue Oil (Matricaria Chamomilla) , Guar Gum (Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride) , Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera) , Lanolin , Glycerl Stearate & Peg - 100 Stearate , Yeast , Cold Pressed Organic Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis) , Soya Lecithin , Red Henna (Lawsonia inermis) , *Eugenol , *Limonene , *Linalool , Benzyl Alcohol. * = ingredients that occurs naturally in essential oils.

Superbalm Scalp Treatment | £12.50 for 45g / $21.95 for 1.5oz
Lush recommends massaging this ointment with your fingertips on targeted areas of the scalp, rather than all over and leave it to work its magic for around 20 minutes then rinse off before shampooing and conditioning as usual. The scalp treatment is supposed to help remove scalp build up that shampoo cannot remove. Coconut oil, candelilla wax and salicylic acid help to soothe and moisturise scalp while softening and ridding hair of loose flakes. I did find this could irritate my scalp slightly if i had any cuts, but that's because i have an extremely sensitive scalp and lavender is listed as an ingredient. I find that this helps to stimulate blood flow to the scalp which helps with create healthier hair and hair growth; However i find that it can feel a little greasy on the scalp and leave behind a bit of residue, which takes several shampoos to remove. I swear by Nizoral shampoo when it comes to maintaining a healthy scalp, i have used it for 2 years now and won't use anything else. My scalp is the healthiest it has ever been. I feel if you have mild dandruff and don't have an extremely sensitive scalp like myself, then you will get on well with this.
Is it a Repurchase? If i couldn't get my hands on T44Z then perhaps
Ingredients: Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera) , Candelilla Wax (Euphorbia cerifera) , Salicylic Acid , Rose Wax (Rosa damascena) , Lavender Oil (Lavandula augustifolia) , Chamomile Blue Oil (Matricaria Chamomilla) , Rose Absolute (Rosa damascena) , *Limonene , *Linalool , *Geraniol , *Citronellol , Fragrance . *Occurs naturally in essential oils
